Enrolment for 2025

At Northern Territory Music School, our Instrumental and Choir Program offers students an exciting opportunity to explore their musical talents. Designed for those enrolled in government schools, our program nurtures young musicians through engaging lessons and ensemble participation.

Important Information

Eligibility and Enrolment


  • Enrolment in the NT Music School Instrumental and Choir Program is exclusively for students attending government schools.
  • Annual enrolment is required for participation.
  • Open to students in Year 4 through Year 12.

Lessons and Contributions


  • Enjoy FREE weekly lessons for all students.
  • We request a $100 annual contribution to help support our programs and resources.

Instrument and Materials


  • Students accepted into the program will need to hire or purchase an instrument and the prescribed textbook before starting lessons.
  • Instruments available include flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, bass guitar, trombone, guitar, voice, and percussion.

Ensemble Participation


  • There is a $100 fee for each after-school ensemble.
