Instrumental and Vocal Education
At Northern Territory Music School, we believe in the power of music to transform lives. Through our comprehensive programs, we offer students across the NT the opportunity to engage, improve, celebrate, together in music education.
What We Offer
Instrumental Programs
Our instrumental programs cater to students from Year 4 to Year 12, providing small group tuition in a variety of instruments including:
- Brass: Trumpet, Trombone
- Woodwind: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone
- Strings: Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar
- Percussion: Tuned and Untuned Percussion
Students receive weekly lessons tailored to their skill level, guided by our NT Music School Syllabus. Our program fosters collaborative learning and prepares students for ensemble
performances.
Choir and Vocal Programs
Experience the joy of singing through our choir and vocal programs, available to students across primary and middle schools. Highlights include:
- After School Choirs: An ensemble program aimed at providing opportunities for students to develop singing & performance skills in a group setting
- Vocal Uprising: A program aimed at middle and senior school students, for developing soloists and singer-songwriters, featuring weekly lessons and performance opportunities.
Ensembles and Performances
Explore our diverse range of ensembles, where students collaborate and perform together:
- After School Ensembles: Including concert bands, choirs, rock school, guitar and percussion groups.
- BEAT Festival: Our annual performance showcase featuring choir, orchestra, ensemble, dance, soloists & feature acts.
